Research Experience

Mar – Aug 2024
Visiting Researcher NYU Tandon School of Engineering Formulated GNN training as a constrained optimization problem with the graph structure as constraints; derived Lagrangian and dual formulations. Compared its convergence with back-propagation on node classification, graph classification, and link prediction.
Mar – Jul 2023
Visiting Researcher Polytechnique Montréal, Dept. of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering — Advisor: Prof. Thibaut Vidal Surveyed contextual stochastic optimization and co-developed the first end-to-end neural pipeline trained with a sample average approximation objective. Evaluated on synthetic and real-world problems (portfolio optimization, newsvendor); manuscript in preparation.
Jun – Aug 2022
Research Intern SNCF Réseau — DGEX Solutions, Paris, France Deep reinforcement learning agents (DQN, PPO) for real-time train rescheduling on the French national rail network. Learned dispatching policies outperformed the existing rule-based heuristic.
Sep 2021 – Apr 2022
Research Intern AiVidence, Paris, France Interpretability method for tree-based models based on the Banzhaf power index from cooperative game theory. Comparable explanations to SHAP and LIME at lower computational cost.
